Making Dinner

Tonight I made dinner. I made chicken on rice with peas and corn, and my dad helped me make it.

  1. Wow Levi! That's so helpful and kind of you to make dinner for your family. Sounds tasty too. Did you enjoy helping to cook? What was the most difficult part?

  2. Morena Levi,
That looks like a really yummy meal Levi, good to see the vegetables with it to make it nice and healthy! What is your favourite vegetable to eat? You could do the same dish next time but maybe swap to peas and corn to other vegetables to make it a bit of a change.

Keep up the good work Levi, I'm sure your dad will appreciate it, I know I would!
    Enjoy the lovely sunshine today!

  3. Kia ora Levi,

It is great to see you doing some cooking. Was it a delicious meal? I really enjoy cooking, do you? Maybe next time you could talk about the process of making the meal, like in a recipe book. I wonder what you will cook next.

Awesome work Levi. Did your family give you a good review for the meal that you cooked? I look forward to seeing what else you get up to Levi.

  5. Kia ora Levi,

Yum! That dinner looks delicious. How great that you are helping out your family by cooking dinner. My daughter did that one night for us too. It was nice to have a break from cooking.

I like Miss Agnew's idea about creating a cookbook. You could use something like Book Creator to help you do that. Or make it on a Google Slide.

Keep up the great learning and blogging,
